The shipment of the Teufel Impaq 4000 package includes five satellite loudspeakers, one subwoofer, one DVD player, a first class remote control, some installation materials and a lot of cables. The Impaq 4000 is a perfect investment in a Home Cinema System with DVD 5.1 Receiver. This receiver includes a DTS license, is compatible with MP3, Divx, JPEG and much more formats, it has a radio tuner with 40 station memory positions and a lot of in- and outputs. The most important inputs are 2x HDMI, digital coaxial, stereo cinch and stereo jack 3.5mm. Some of the outputs are also HDMI, digital coaxial and optical, headphone output, subwoofer output, 3.5 mm jack and stereo cinch.

The 400 Watt (RMS) subwoofer has an internal volume of 21 litres and a diameter of 200 mm. Four of the five speakers are standing upright while the fifth one can be laid horizontally. The housing material of the speakers is aluminium; the tweeters are made of titanium.
All parts of the system have a black colour with a silver Teufel logo in the front. The subwoofer has two vertical stripes in the front. Turning on the system, you’ve got a feeling like in the cinema. The loudspeakers are perfectly balanced and have a nice sound; the subwoofer is beating extreme hard – and the best: it’s not only good at little volume! For our test we’ve connected the Teufel system with the Humax iCord HD+ satellite-receiver with a HDMI cable, so that we were able to enjoy Full-HD video with perfect 5.1 digital sound. This combination is fantastic in our opinion.
Finally, we can recommend this home cinema system to everyone looking for a top-quality product in the middle price segment because it’s a lot cheaper than audio systems with comparable sound quality.
